What is a color proof?

A color proof is an accurate print out of your files that will match the printed postcard.

Is a color proof necessary?

Color proofs are only helpful when your files are setup correctly and scans are prepared properly and color corrected on a monitor that is calibrated to show colors accurately. If the file is bad the color proof will only be as good as the files you provide for output.

If you are not sure of your ability to set up your color files it would be in your best interest to let us scan your slide, transparency or picture. We charge a flat rate or $35.00 per scan. This way you will be sure that your color will be as accurate as possible.

How will a color proof effect turn-a-round time?

We work on a Friday to Friday schedule, In order to keep this printing turn-a-round time we will need your color materials i.e. Slides, transparencies, photos or electronic files the Wednesday before the Friday deadline.
